The Premier Music Program for Young Children

Kindermusik is a unique, highly creative, music-learning experience for children beginning at 18 months of age. The natural creativity of a child’s mind is stimulated in a learning environment where the emphasis is on process, not performance. Kindermusik has been designed by early childhood education specialists for specific age groups and developmental levels. The classes are structured, yet fun; they encourage individual development and simultaneously strengthen group interaction skills. Parent/child bonding is enhanced as parents participate with their children in class, and later at home with Kindermusik tapes and books.

Kindermusik Village is for newborns through 1 1/2 years: lap babies, crawlers and walkers. Age-appropriate activities stimulate babies to observe, imitate and learn. Classes meet once a week for 45 minutes.

Kindermusik Our Time, for children 18 months through 3 years helps children learn what comes naturally to them -- music and movement -- in an environment that fosters creative growth at an individual pace. Children are accompanied by a parent or care-giver during each class, 30 minutes in length.

Kindermusik Imagine That! focuses on children ages 3 ½ to 5 years. As children become more adept with their verbal, motor and social skills, their level of involvement in the class increases. Children are encouraged to participate and their potential for creative expression is expanded. Parents or care-givers attend a portion of each 45 minute class with the children.

Kindermusik for the Young Child, for children in Kindergarten, lets students explore many facets of the musical experience - speaking, singing, moving, dancing, listening, creating and playing instruments, as well as learning about reading and writing music.  The curriculum broadens and deepends the child's introduction to the fulfillment and excitementof musicianship, and helps parent and child recognize special interests or skills for future forman music instruction.
